Bio
I am Bob Kerrigan, seeking the Thompson School Board seat for District G. I’ve been married for 29 years and my wife Paula and I are Colorado natives originally from Southern Colorado. We have been Berthoud residents since the early 80’s with two kids attending the Berthoud school system start to finish. Both have graduated from college, my daughter, Jessica, from CSU (2006) and my son, Colton, from Hastings College (2011). I am currently employed at major Aerospace company as a Project Engineer. I have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Management from Regis University (2007), Associate of Applied Science degree in Machining Technology (1982) and an Associated of applied Science degree in Drafting Technology (1987).
After High school I choose the Community College route, due to financial and family obligations. I knew very early that an education would provide the best opportunity for me and my young family. My wife and I knew we would be our children’s best mentors to help them understand how important an education can be. From the beginning of our children’s education we have been a mentor and a partner in their educational successes.
I have always seen education as a tool for growth in building my career. I have worked at all levels in an engineering environment; as a technician, designer and project engineer. The most enjoyable aspect of my career is being able to mentor and impact others in their careers.
